Name for tantric

Joining one of the Tantra schools through the rite of initiation (dīkāā) involves taking a new name (dīkāā-nāman), different from the former mundane (laukika). This practice exists in different spiritual traditions. So, in Christianity when taking the rank, a person changes his name, given to him at birth, to the new one given to him by his church, which later becomes the official form of address to him.
In Shaktisangama tantra (II. 30. 8-9; IV.2.90) it is said that the sadhaka should avoid calling shakti by the name given to her by her parents and calling her by a new name. The names are given depending on which goddess this or that woman is the embodiment of. This is described in detail in II. 30. 10-25. Very often, an initiative name consists of two elements. In the Yogini Tantra, Adinatha, by the will of Kali, gives bhairava Karala, along with the initiation, a new name "Krodhavaktra" (I. 19.45-55). As a rule, the second element of the name is fixed. According to the Mrigenda-vritti, the name of the initiate may end in-śiva or-gaṇa, and Somasambhu-paddhati adds-deva. Often as the second element is the word -śambhu (cf Brahmacharya, Soysambu). And according to Brahma-yamala, a man's name should end in-bharava, and a woman's name should end in-śakti. The trika texts prescribe for everyone the ending-śakti, which is preceded by one of the names of the goddesses (for example, "Tantra-sadbhava" 9.123). In the case of the Kaulikas, the initiatory names may be appended to-anandanātha ("Mahakala-samhita", "Matsienda-samhita"). As for the first element of the name, it can be defined as follows. During diksha, the guru places his hand on the head of the initiate, which he has transformed with the help of mantras, so that it is the "hand of Shiva". God thus takes possession of the disciple. He is then placed in front of the mandala, where Shiva and his pantheon re present (invisibly) in the form of a mantra; his blindfold is removed so that he can see Shiva. He then throws a flower or flower garland (pupapa-pāta) on the mandala, and the name of the mantra associated with the part of the mandala on which the flower or garland falls will become the first element of the name.
